Mapping the Margins - A 4-Week ArtisticCollaboration with The HomelessPastors

Local artist Pete Chapple recently partnered with our Community Group to create beautiful illustrations of Calderdale landmarks for a new Homeless Services Map. Designed to guide rough sleepers to vital local support, the project ended with a powerful exhibition at Halifax’s Piece Hall. One visitor wrote in the comments book: “What a great idea to have a local map to give to rough sleepers—helping them get off the streets.” A moving reminder that art, community, and compassion can lead the way home.
