Frozen Out: The Deadly Reality of Homelessness in Freezing Temperatures

With temperatures plunging several degrees below zero this winter, homeless individuals across the North West have struggled to stay warm while sleeping on the streets. The biting cold brings extreme risks, with rough sleepers facing the dangers of hypothermia, frostbite and, in some cases, death.
Working tirelessly, our volunteers have transported and distributed insulated Sleep Pods across Lancashire and Yorkshire. These triangular-shaped emergency shelters provide vital warmth and protection from the harsh winter elements, offering rough sleepers a fighting chance to survive.
