From The Homeless Pastors into The Light Group — A New Chapter Begins

We’re entering an exciting new chapter.

What began as The Homeless Pastors has grown into something much bigger — a movement of outreach, Community Groups, and trusted Recovery programmes now spreading across towns and cities in the UK. To reflect this growth, our organisation will now be known as The Light Group. It’s the name we started with and it better represents the full scope of our work — bringing light and hope to those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and isolation.

But we’re not saying goodbye to The Homeless Pastors — in fact, we’re expanding it. The Homeless Pastors website is being transformed into a global training platform. It will host videos, courses and online resources to train people to become pastors to the homeless — right in their own churches and communities, all over the world. Through AI-powered translation, we’ll be equipping people in multiple languages, multiplying the impact and creating a sustainable income for The Light Group as we continue to grow both across the UK and beyond.

‘Homeless Pastor’ will remain the job title for those leading our frontline work, serving on the streets, building relationships, and guiding people toward recovery and restoration.
